Thatcham Good Life

You can make your views count by campaigning and lobbying at local, national and international levels. Here are 5 things you can do.

Local Level
1. If you want to make a difference locally why not join the Greening Thatcham campaign? Click here to send us an email.
2. Do you believe that West Berks Council could do something differently to encourage the reduction of CO2 emissions? You can contact them via http://www.westberks.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=2027 .
3. Write to the Newbury Weekly News with your ideas at editor@newburynews.co.uk
. Remember to include your name and address. If you stick to local topics and keep your letter short you are more likely to get it published.

National Level
4. The Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change
is Ed Miliband. Sign up on his web page at http://www.edspledge.com/ to let him know your views.

International Level
5. Sign up with AVAAZ at http://www.avaaz.org/en/. In their words, Avaaz.org is a community of global citizens who take action on the major issues facing the world today. The aim of Avaaz.org is to ensure that the views and values of the world’s people shape global decisions. Avaaz.org members act for a more just and peaceful world and a globalisation with a human face.
